Join us along the famous Plitvice lakes, the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world and immerse yourself in nature beauties like you haven’t seen before.
Some say that the best things in life are taken slowly, granting maximum pleasure and serenity. Such is Croatia's premier national park Plitvice and it's breathtaking 16 blue-green lakes with more than 90 waterfalls. It's the oldest and largest national park in Croatia and it's been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Through history, National park Plitvice has been exposed to a number of cultural influences, from Illyrians, Romans, Avars, Slavs and Turks as well.
Take a stroll through the Upper Lakes, a system of 12 lakes, all of them separated of each other by travertine barriers. The last of the Upper lakes is Lake Kozjak which in the past used to be divided into two lakes, but through nature's process the lakes were merged thus creating the only navigable lake on Plitvice today where an electric boat takes you for a tour on crystal clear water. Before the ride enjoy local specialties in a typical mountain house „Lička kuća“; after your walk by the Lakes the food will have excellent taste.
After boat ride, continue your tour with the group of Lower lakes consisting of idyllic small watterfalls among which the Great Waterfall stands out with the height of 78 meters making it the highest waterfall in Croatia.
Arriving to the south entrance there will be a panoramic train ready to take you back to the beginning of your journey.
